Two workmen attaching a banner "Welcome to Saarbrücken - We welcome the ICE!" to some posts at Bahnhofstrasse.
On June 10th, the ICE (or TGV), the fastest train around, will be in service in Saarbrücken, taking us to Paris in less than 2 hours. =)

I really enjoyed your photograph and then your commentary about it.
It is all about speed these days. The computer magazines I get talk about the fastest chips or the fastest lens or the fastest pain reliever. And what ever happened to slow stuff? The slow boat to China. The slow train to Chicago.
The ironic thing about all of this speed is that we have less time now than we did before all of the speed thing started.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments too.
