The circus is in town! Circus Barelli, claiming to have the tallest tent and the only horse-riding tiger worldwide, are in Saarbrücken for a month from now.(Personally, I won't go. I don't think animals are treated right in this business.)

One year, we had a circus in town and an elephant, for what ever reason, got startled, and ran away, causing a big stir. Sadly, the police had to kill it b/c of risk to public safety after one person died. The newspaper later said the owner/trainer of the elephant used to abuse the elephant so it was traumatized.
I now would never go to a circus that uses animals to entertain people.
