Rainbow in the Morning Sky

When the sun set this morning, there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Pictures didn't turn out too well though... =(

what an incredible color, and I see it two ways, one as a rainbow, and because it is a quiet rainbow, it also looks like a pink orb rising up from earth into a lilac sky. Or am I the only one who sees that?

I also like the darkness of the foliage. sorry to turn your rainbow into some sci fi picture, but I mean it is very evocative and pretty too!

I think they turned out really well!

Our German twintown, Miesbach, has been kind enough to send apple juice to us because we have a water shortage in the floods. I'd like to say thank you to them here if that's okay, since there is not a DP for Miesbach. Thanks!
