It's carnival time in Germany!The Saarländers are not as mad about it as other people in other German areas like Cologne or Mainz, but still there are many parties and balls around our area. For interested party people: Our carnival "battle call" is "Alleh hopp!".
A hairdresser downtown had the cutest decoration that I had to show you.

In my part of Switzerland, there are already signs going up for Fasnacht parties. It seems to be quite a big deal here. I saw a lovely window decoration job but didn't have my camera with me (shame!). Must go back :-)
