Saarbrücken hosted its first marathon today.More than 2000 runners took part in this big event following the track along the two banks of the river Saar and around the St. Johanner Markt, our market square (the picture was taken there).
I was there because a friend of mine was participating too, and guess what? He was 11th in the senior category (Haha, he's not even 40!!!).

thats awesome and such a good day to do the marathon with the overcast skies providing natural shade for this challenging endurance feat.
Being 11th is a great result. You didn't enter?
Uff, no, I didn't enter. I'm the kind of person who would order a taxi on half the way (or faaar earlier)... =)
