I can't believe I'm blogging for several months now without taking a picture of our national theatre - shame on me. =)
This huge building was built in 1937/38, there are 875 seats inside. They have several shows of opera, operettas, musicals, plays and ballets.
Some words about the not so perfect history of the place: The theatre was officially given to the Saarland by the Nazis as a thank you for the result of the poll in 1935, when the inhabitants of the Saarland decided to be part of the German Reich again.
